THE YOUNG MAGICIANS - 1977 to 1986

In 1977 Lyndsay Reitschel created 'The Young Magicians', a school to teach teenagers the fine art of performing magic. Lyndsay was never interested in teaching secrets because to him the real secret of magic was in it's presentation.

He was a hard taskmaster, but for those who could survive his blunt and concise criticism the rewards were great. If you could perform in front of Lyndsay, you could perform in front of anyone!

Some of the magicians who passed through the group included: Phillip Way, Mike Roberts, David Birchall, John Tee, Don Crawford, Colin Savage, Richard Perdriau, Simon Booth, Paul Bowen, Noel Lloyd, Anton Wongtrakun, Brett Jones, Mark Glassborow, Paul King, Duck Cameron, Paul Teiwes, John Baker, David Aaron, Simon Verity and Tim Ellis
