ITALIAN FUNNYMAN
Anthony DeMasi is one
of Melbourne’s new breed of comedy magicians. In 1996 he was given his
first opportunity to perform, and he enjoyed it so much he decided to
find out more. Over the last nine years he has performed at events like
the Sydney 2000 Olympic Torch Relay, The Australian Tennis Open,
and the Formula One Grand Prix.
Anthony’s show
combines slapstick and silliness with absolutely amazing magic. It’s
perfect for all ages and he tries to get as many people up on stage with
him involved in the act. He is often assisted by his pet dove Peppie, a
disembodied hand, or his beautiful model assistant Gina Fettucini. (She
is a real model… a mannequin!) He’s also an expert in the art of
unicycling and balloonology.
Over the last few
years, he has also been performing the audience warm up for several
Channel Nine shows including ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’.
Anthony also works as
a social/work trainer for youth services and teaches magic and circus
skills in a program that promotes self esteem, confidence and personal
growth.
