Tim
Ellis is known throughout the world for his original, innovative and
highly entertaining approach to the ancient art of magic. He performs
hundreds of shows every year for corporations and at private events all
over the globe.
Born in Melbourne, Australia, Tim performed his first show over thirty
years ago. Since then he has published magic magazines, released several
top-selling DVDs, owned his own magic shop, performed at conventions and
conferences all over the world, escaped from a locked crate at the
bottom of the Yarra River, and been featured in countless
press articles.
After winning virtually every
award
Australian magic had to offer including 'Best Stage Magician' and
'Best Close Up Magician', Tim became the first Australian ever to win
two awards at the
FISM 'World
Championship of Magic' -
Switzerland in 1991 and Japan in 1994. Now he represents Australia on
the Jury of this tri-annual event.

In 1986 Tim
Ellis was awarded the title 'Best Close Up Magician in Australia'.
In 1994 he won the Silver Medal in Close Up Magic at the FISM World

Tim Ellis has been described as crazy, hyperactive, hilarious,
energetic, unpredictable, and absolutely amazing. In his 30-45 minute
solo Magic & Comedy show, he's all that and much, much more! This is a
show Tim has performed all over the world and it has been honed to
perfection! It can be performed in virtually any environment - from a
2000 seat theatre to a crowded restaurant floor. It can be performed
surrounded, with or without amplification. Tim doesn't even need a table
as everything he needs comes out of his pockets.
It's funnier than a stand-up comedy show, appeals to men and women and
contains no offensive material!
